Me schaefft and 4muddyfeet just did. It was amazingly poorly built but kind of interesting anyway. Even riding on m parallel replicas.
The wrap job was awful and there was filler every where. I couldve accepted it if it wasnt for the tame effort to look a bit like the hoonicorn. Oh and double stacked wheel spacers...
Still theres a lot of work in this car. Not sure how much jag is left but at least the firewall, suspension struts, running gear and partial interior.
4muddyfeet has some better photos i believe, these were just quick phone snaps.

This is very, very bizarre.

Yeah no idea what led the owner to this point... We thought it was just a badly modded stang but then i saw the interior and he took the hood off. Strange strange car.

Now that is something that you don’t see every day.

Sure isnt. We went to a car show and among the clean exotics and polished up classics there was this... There were a few other modified cars to be fair but none as nuts as this.

Double stacked spacers, is that even remotely safe?

It certainly is not. If theyre hubcentric theyre moderately less dangerous but still something you wouldnt do. Funnily enough this recently passed an MOT (british yearly safety inspection).

Sometimes the unusual and bizarre are the most unique and fun to see.
In my neck of the woods there are so many exotics driving around I barely batt an eye anymore.

I was interested in the older exotics like the countach but the modern ferraris and lambos dont tickle my fancy. Highlights for me were a renault 5 gt turbo, jaguar xjc and noble m12 probably.

I reckon they remove the spacers before MOT. Is it true a car with rust won’t pass?

Hell of a lot better than I could ever do. I dig it and wish there was more cool stuff like that around here instead of potato potato potato 50s chevies, chargers, camaros, etc. flawlessly restored to their original glory by some old dude who threw money at a shop. Yawn. Give me more backyard engineering and ghetto-fabulousness.

If its severe enough yeah. Surface and non structural rust is fine but anything that could be seen as comprimising the strength of the body is a fail.

We need that here in the US. I can’t tell you how many cars I’ve seen with frames completely compromised by rust...with the body supporting the whole vehicle.

That interior cracked me up. You can look like an idiot, in Jaguar comfort

Yeah I have to admit it was interesting but not something I would put together myself...

Yeah usually cars that fail deserve to fail. You arent going to be failed for minor stuff (my e36 passed an MOT with two rotten front wings but a solid body).

Haha it was such a surprise glancing inside to see that interior. Really odd.
